Mercedes-Benz 1019 AF 4x4

Offered here is a Daimler-Benz Firefighting Truck – Type 1019 AF with all-wheel drive. This vehicle, from the NG model series, comes directly from active duty with the volunteer fire department. Regular technical maintenance and inspections have been consistently performed, ensuring that this truck is an excellent candidate for continued use (e.g., as a classic vehicle, expedition truck, motorhome, etc.).

Currently, it is configured as an LF16 with an integrated FP 16/8 pump and an 860-litre water tank (all fully functional).
Tow coupling fitted. Type 51-G 210.
Double cab with a total of 9 registered seats.

Note: Radio equipment and further fire-fighting apparatus have been removed. Blue lights must be covered or removed during non-emergency (civilian) use.

Tyres: 6x Uniroyal M+S with approx. 90% tread (about 14mm remaining)
Battery set: 2x 12V/120Ah (new in Sept 2020)

Main inspection (HU) and safety inspection (SP) were carried out in April 2025 with the result "no defects found":
-> next SP: April 2026
-> next HU: April 2027
Mileage: only 17,710 km (vehicle is still in occasional use, so mileage may increase slightly)
Engine displacement: 9,506 cc (large-capacity, high-performance diesel engine)
Maximum speed: 92 km/h (long axle ratio helps lower engine revs at motorway speeds)

This 1019 was delivered by Daimler-Benz to the body manufacturer Ziegler in September 1978. The initial registration as an LF16 and commissioning took place on 30.04.1979.
