The Atego, built in 1998, is a first-owner vehicle and has always been parked in a dry garage, never having been driven in winter or on salted roads. Moreover, it has only had one driver, and the two beds have never been slept in—nothing but a jacket has ever been placed there. The vehicle was specifically built for transporting classic cars, from pre-war Horch, Maybach, and Mercedes SSK up to the 300 Gullwing. It has only ever been used to attend events such as Goodwood Revival in the UK, etc. In our opinion, you will not find another Atego in such condition—it could be placed straight into the Stuttgart museum. All maintenance has been carried out without interruption by the same Mercedes-Benz workshop that has been in operation for 60 years.

The body can be fully secured; the sliding tarpaulins open on both sides, front and rear. The ramp opens hydraulically at the touch of a button, and there is a winch as well as plenty of lashing points. The 817 drives like a new vehicle. All the vehicle’s documentation is available, from technical drawings to the original new-body manufacturer’s invoice. Downgrading to 7,490 kg for drivers with an old license is not a problem.
