In combination with the Scharmüller cross member and Scharmüller trailer hitch, the following trailer values are possible:
Trailer with continuous braking system: 21,000 kg
Trailer with overrun brake: 3,500 kg
Trailer without brakes: 750 kg
Center-axle trailer: 13,000 kg and vertical load: 1,000 kg
 This makes the U5023 a multifunctional towing vehicle, from car trailers to center-axle trailers and classic turntable trailers, in any possible height, with the right coupling!
 Ideal for you to operate your crane, as the Unimog itself is short and can therefore tow very long trailers.
 Our special model also has a work gear in the gearbox: perfect for maneuvering, as it allows for very gentle clutch operation and, if necessary, the speed can always be adjusted to suit the situation.
